core devs are software devs who look at the world as if can all be abstracted down to text files in their vim/emacs but the world doesn't work like that, here's some logic that hopefully they can follow though: if core wanted to avoid the OP_RETURN mess and they wanted to debate the change solely on technical terms then they should have done better job managing perceived conflicts of interest they now have a massive black mark against them and the project smells odious such a shame

sovereign money means you need to form an opinion on the current debate not forming one means you're trusting others my opinion is that both sides are suss and i don't like either the core devs or knots

watched few videos now think mechanic getting banned is bullshit looks like devs are trying to maintain face (they have to maintain internal coherent story to themselves why they banned him so they'll make up all sorts of bullshit) think lopp can get fucked AND I don't really want to run Knots because suss on that too

pls help me understand, is knots a fork of core? so doesn't it kind of depend on core to exist, as in its just core with a couple of tweaks?
