On the surface, my job is to facilitate increased proficiency in communication (teach English), but to do this with my higher-level learners (conversation practice), I want something engaging to talk about. Guess what topic I like to discuss any and every time the opportunity arises!

Yesterday my Japanese client wanted to talk about investing, so I told her to invest more time learning about bitcoin, and also consider investing in bitcoin mining companies and perhaps also bitcoin treasury companies. She was very receptive.
This morning my Brazilian client talked about politics and protests, so I explained how ₿itcoin is an apolitical social movement for the people.
Both of these clients left their respective meetings interested in reading The Bitcoin Standard by Saifedean Ammous (my first recommendation).
This week I'll be talking with more clients from Turkey, Morocco, France, Spain, Peru, Senegal, Japan, Vietnam, and Brazil (every week is different).
I'm essentially getting paid to orange-pill the world, one English lesson at a time, and that honest work is how I mine fiat to stack sats!

Today I conducted an English lesson with someone originally from Zimbabwe. It's usually me who brings up ₿itcoin as a discussion topic, but not this time!
I was warming up to the question by asking him to talk to me about innovation, technology, and exciting opportunities for entrepreneurs in his home country, and he went straight to telling me about ₿itcoin mining!
It was a great discussion for our first time together, and now he says he'd like to take more lessons with me! Language instruction is challenging work, but I really love providing this service, especially when I have fruitful, gratifying interactions like this.

I've generally been a really optimistic person my whole life, but the state of affairs was starting to wear on me, and for the first time in my life, I started relating to feelings of apathy and nihilism, mostly because I felt powerless and didn't know how to meaningfully effect change in any way.
That completely changed for me when I stumbled upon ₿itcoin. It has restored my optimism in the face of challenges, and my hope for the outlook of the climates (economic climates, social climates, political climates, humanitarian climates, personal and interpersonal psychological climates, environmental climates, etc.)
Nostr is a beautiful extension of what I love about ₿itcoin, and it's a joy to see these things flourishing and growing all around me.
I give heartfelt thanks to all developers, tinkerers, innovators, content creators, and voices in the space! I will give zaps too, if I can figure out this technical stuff behind it. 😅
