A trick idea I was playing with the other night.

Arm yo-yo trick
A yo-yo trick combo I liked from last nights practice session.
Willow (my 8yo) asked me to draw the Duolingo mascot earlier. Idk why.
This is a mix of yo-yo trick combos from tonight’s practice session.
How I feel when I see an anti-tech Luddite proudly proclaiming their beliefs.
At one of my many jobs I saw this in the office of the company tech expert. I always loved it and felt like it would have been amazing to hand this out as a flier whenever someone came to ask me to put out the fire they started.

Willow challenged me to draw a pterodactyl in a half hour.
62 more items up. 🙃

54 more items listed on eBay. For the longest time I had this seemingly impossible goal of getting to 200 listed items. Suddenly this past week with the new task batching method I’ve had several 50+ listing days and am now at 311 listings.
The previous method was cherry picking items I knew were worth a few dollars or more and individually listing them, with tons of photographs. But what I found by researching those who make a full business from this is that a good photo of the front and back (of a trading card, in my case) is sufficient. Additionally the way the items are presorted, organized by quality, labels with a simple sku, and photographed in large batches, and then listed all at once has taken what would normally be a five day operation and condenses it into one.
If I had more duplicate items to list it would be even faster, as I can simply duplicate the existing listings, change the sku, replace the pictures, (change the condition if it’s different quality), and post. The duplicates are the real reason this is much faster, but the overall method of batching seems to make the process faster as well.
Kinda fun. Already want to start the next back haha.. I have 1000 “free” insertion fees per month so I have another 700 items I could list. And the store fee was only $25 or so. The insertion fee if you exceed your “free” amount is $.25 per listing so with today’s listings it’s already paid for itself as far as reduced fees go. But the more I have listed the more surface area my store has for potential sales. Kind of like adding more fishing lines into the water to increase your odds of catching more fish.
I still have to take some time to set up categories in the new store and add those to various items. The easier it is for people to find things they’re looking for without needing to use the search feature the more likely they are to get it from me or even buy multiples in the same order. But I’ll worry about that after some more listings. I think focusing on what I can do to get more eyes is most important for now. Later I’ll optimize the shop.

Bitcoiners are never fashionably late.
Upgraded my eBay account to a basic store to get an additional 750 free insertion fees for listings. Past 250 listings today. Was able to do all the work of photographing and listing 52 items in one day too. Better than last time which took a couple days of thinking too much. Anyways. Interested to see how this goes.
My eyes have gone out of focus from squinting at the laptop screen all day. I should probably go get replacement glasses.
