Proof of work: p = 140063641 q = 764267824357958887 (60-bit factor) k = 2,728,287,723 q = 2kp + 1 ✓ q mod 8 = 7 ✓ q is prime ✓ pow(2, p, q) = 1 It was factored in 3 minutes using my new algo, and it was all done on a phone, in browser. Clearly this number is gargantuan, and tbh, I don’t even know what the actual number this exponent is if expanded (my phone doesn’t have enough storage to even read out the number, true story. Think of factoring like brute forcing. Super ugly. Hearing about the hard forks on BTC lately. In the event of a hard fork new coins get issued. Those coins are treated as income. MicroStrategy would be subject to a thumping income tax bill. $4B tax bill of the coin retains 20% of BTC price $700M if price retains 5% $140M if price retains 1% Ewwwwwww. New attack vector though, worth thinking about out loud. Feels unreasonable to have the tax structure like this for this reason IMO.

The largest current known prime number is (2^136,279,841)-1 It is ~40 million digits long. This one below (2^100000000000031)-1 Has ~31 trillion digits. Is it prime? If so, this would then be the largest prime number that humanity has found. Preliminary Pre screen tests up to 78 bit search space all passed. Which is quite cool and validates it as a candidate worth trying! Storing this number on a computer in bits is like more than a terabyte just for the number 😂 BIG DOG!
