Something I've noticed for some time and never really articulated is how time seems to slow down when I'm with my husband.
In the evenings after a light supper, we can sit quietly and read for hours. There is a comfort in love that slows the internal rhythm down. I've always felt safe with him.
Now that I think about it some more, my brother has always made me feel this way when he's present, without really trying.

I think one of the hallmarks of living free is never having to queue up for anything. Iβm allergic to queuing so I avoid it. It is an utter life suck.
There isnβt a material thing in the world that I would stand in line to purchase.

Someone I've known for 20 years describes me as annoyingly calm and extremely dangerous. I think this is why. Without even trying.
