There is a lesson we can learn from Judo, you can make fighting your opponents easier by turning their energy/momentum to your advantage. Don't directly counter their energy, accept it and claim it as your own.

I read a quite a few posts on substack. I really wish that I could zap the authors rather than having to subscribe to support them. Subscription model creates a freeloader problem where most readers are free subscribers and a few generous patrons carry the monetary burden.

Bitcoin doesn't need politicians for it to survive, but bitcoiners do. If the regime in your country cracks down on bitcoin, it will make your life far more difficult. Just because you want to be left alone doesn't mean they will leave you alone. From a pragmatic standpoint, if you're a bitcoiner in the US, it makes sense to vote for Trump. RFK jr. has near zero chance of winning and Kamala is more likely to be anti-bitcoin. Also, Trump has said that he will free Ross, for what it's worth. You should always be suspicious of politicians. However, we need to realize that we're in or near the "then they fight you" stage, and there are enough passionate bitcoiners in the US and elsewhere to influence policy in our favor. Though there is a near zero chance that my vote will have any impact given that I live in one of the most blue states in the US, I still will be showing up in November to cast my vote for the orange man.

Don't get caught up in the culture war nor politics. The only thing that matters is promoting/defending technologies that empower individuals and communities to stand up to tyrants. #NOSTR #Bitcoin

I don't think we should be concerned about NOSTR growth. I find it much better with a smaller group rather than the giant noise fest on X etc.
