The fact that Nostr is just a protocol that anyone can use and develop on is pretty cool to me. Like myself, who’s trying to develop an integration to import my Nostr notes into my personal website to function as a blog. Currently, the notes are displaying correctly, but I need to implement caching to avoid reloading all notes after refreshing the page. Additionally, I need to figure out how to enable infinite scrolling. The goal is to load 20 or 50 notes initially and then dynamically load more as the user scrolls near the bottom of the page. I bought an MX Master 3S and couldn’t understand why the scrolling felt so weird on Mac. It turns out you absolutely need the Logitech software for smooth scrolling to work; otherwise, scrolling with the mouse feels terrible… By the way, I’m having such a hard time getting used to the scroll wheel scrolling in the opposite direction than Windows. Luckily, this can be changed, which I will most likely do. #Mac #Logitech

Won't buy the LG C3 anyway... The OLED panel concerns me too much because of the risk of burn-in. I don't want to hide the dock and menu bar. Also, it turns out that my ultrawide Alienware monitor works surprisingly well with my Mac. So I'm just gonna use that. View quoted note →

Really want to setup my own little media server for the pictures and videos I share on Nostr. Instead of using Nostr.build I would like to have my own. Would be a fun project I think.

Been wanting a big monitor for my Mac for a long time now, just never really been sure what to buy. Writing code on the 16” MacBook Pro is fine, but a bigger display would certainly be an upgrade in terms of increasing productivity. I’ll most likely be buying an LG C3 42”, just need a little more time to consider different options. Currently waiting for Logitech MX Master 3S and Keychron K3 Max to arrive. #coding #mac #lg
