Imagine. During the Trump speech in Nashville, the US government sells all remaining bitcoin. Max pain. “Liz Warren sends her regards.” Dark Brandon memes.

The purpose of art is not the release of a momentary ejection of adrenaline but rather the gradual, lifelong construction of a state of wonder and serenity. -Glenn Gould

Let Germany sell. Let Gox-holders sell. Let the USG sell. Let El Salvador buy. Let plebs buy. Distribute, distribute, distribute.

Bitcoin is the people’s money. The network and its future belong to all of us. It’s not any better or worse than we humans. Bitcoin’s flows of value? Millions of decisions. Gifts and exchanges. Someone is parting with one thing for something else, more valuable to them. Someone on the other side of that exchange is doing the same and both consider themselves better off in the aftermath… otherwise it wouldn’t have happened. Bitcoin is just that, but scaled up to the globe. And Bitcoin’s market cap reflects another human choice: to hold a non-debaseable currency over a debaseable one. This thing is just preferences being manifested. The tech simply gave people another choice and another, more efficient and far-reaching way to do that.

Would you believe me if I said there’s no statistical relationship between political orientation and bitcoin ownership in the US? Dropping a report soon, to that effect.

Back from Oslo. Almost no sleep. Got up early and wrote a couple hundred words (low quality, but something), got the kids off to school, scythed the lawn, did a mace/ kettlebell workout outside in the back alley, played 10 minutes of Bach and now back to writing. NOSTR life off to a promising start.
