Hello. I am testing Oxchat and trying to use my own server. I have a Start9 server running the Nostr Relay. I have added my private keys to the relay using Hex format so they are white listed. I have added the .onion address to Oxchat and there is a green tick saying it’s connected. I have Orbot running. Now when I try to send a message I get a red exclamation mark and the message does not get sent. I have also tried the .local address with and with out Orbot and get the same result. It’s proving to be quite frustrating not knowing where I am going wrong. Any ideas where I am going wrong? #asknostr #start9 #Oxchat
I am not a young man anymore. I still have quite a few years to go though. It’s only in recent months that I have done the proof of work and studied. I have learnt a great deal over these months. I see the world changing opportunity that Bitcoin offers and how hard it will be to make these changes given the push back by people in power. I see how protocols such as Nostr are needed. I hope that the younger generations are making these connections already. It’s the younger generations that will make the most changes. It’s the younger generations that need it the most. Unfortunately too many of them are currently stuck in a world of toxic social media platforms. I am trying to do my part by opening as many eyes and minds as I can. Hello. I am currently using 2 clients to access my Nostr on iOS, Damus and Primal. However I have an issue with both of them. Firstly on Damus. The zap symbol for individual posts is missing. Any reason why I can’t see it? Secondly on Primal. I am running my own private relay, which I have been able to add to Damus but I am unable to add to Primal. My relay address is an onion address and it starts with ws://…. Primal will not accept it. When I use the wss://….. address it is unreachable. I have tried with Tor active and inactive. Any reason why Primal will not accept the ws://…. address? #asknostr.
