GA. Just back from a late morning walk with pup. I always do these walks with no audio buds or headphones. It’s a great way to focus on the dog while simultaneously sifting through my latest ideas. 🐶💡🙂

I took pup to the vet today for a happy visit. Just for her to hang out with the staff, get used to the place, weigh her and get a treat. I have done this a couple of times now. Will do it every couple of months. Its part of our training plan 🐶🙂

I have started this year’s run early on finding free pallets and turning them into firewood. Last year I spent 6 weeks organising winter firewood, basically March and half of April. I got about the right amount last year for the winter. This year I am getting a jump on it. I saved approximately $1200-$1500 depending on suppler.

It’s been nearly 2.5 years since my mother passed away. I ended up being the Enduring Power of Attorney for all of her family affairs, essentially the legally responsible person to organise and oversee the desired outcome for all involved. I am still dealing with the ramifications of her passing in 2024. I’m tired. It’s possible that I might be able to close this chapter by Christmas. We will see.

If you have never researched the placebo effect, it’s well worth doing so, then sitting with the findings for a while. Nearly everyone has at least heard about it in passing but a good deep dive is worth the time. Eye opening!

Gm. Busy day ahead. More work on the Point of Sale app I’m building, my normal list of daily chores, walking pup and cooking dinner for 6. Happy days! 😄

Gm. While there is no such thing as finding your life’s purpose and no overarching meaning to your existence, you can purposely choose meaningful things to do today. 🙂
