China rattles its saber at Taiwan. German politicians threaten sanctions. The first warning signs appear when supply chains for spare parts and maintenance become unreliable, but the government continues to rely on Chinese suppliers for the time being. There is no choice.

The conflict between China and Taiwan escalates, massively disrupting the production and export of wind and solar technology. Germany begins to experience supply bottlenecks.

Without regular replacement of the systems, the first wind turbines and solar panels begin to fail. Power outages become more frequent, and the economy suffers from the uncertainty. Cyberattacks of unknown origin on inverters and control systems are increasing.

The conflict in Asia continues to escalate, Germany has joined the pro-Taiwan faction, and China has completely stopped exports.
