A subscription bundle is not going to fix either the Post nor CNN. Slowing and reversing decline by replicating Times is a strategy that could have worked briefly years ago, but no more. I would love to see a new generation of leaders define distinct market positioning and value propositions for these groups of extremely talented people, and help them redefine their success and help preserve journalistic craft and spirit.
On AI autocratic bias: Recent studies show cautioning LLMs about illegal demographic discrimination can reduce bias. Great! But this feature could be exploited by autocratic regimes.
