Does Bitcoin Solve ‘The Paradox Of Sovereignty’? The Paradox: The sovereign is inside the law (creates and enforces it), and also outside of the law (state of exception). The only way to break this paradox is self-sovereignty - where no one can suspend the [bitcoin] rules, because they are derived from math and self-incentive on an individual level, not from human authority. Bitcoin is the key, there are no exceptions - Not your keys, not your coins is the new law, which makes you sovereign! This fiat system was perpetuated by paper money, where they print over any issue - it’s the linchpin. The monopoly on money is upstream of the monopoly on violence, which both provide the authority to make the rules (law), downstream of that is communications, education etc. It’s a matter of time, tick-tock next block.

The more I just do what I think is right, while not only open to, but welcoming being humbled, the more my life improves. No concrete plan, just working on what I think is *the most important* task I can influence. Options open up, synchronicity between old and new friends, the opportunities I could have never planned for, arrive at my doorstep. Plus, far less stress. Huge plus.

Today I played with Igloo and Frost2x (Frost version of nos2x). It was cool, still early days, but I really think that this is going to be some of the most important work of the decade. If democracy and totalitarianism share an “inner solidarity,” a digital world could amplify that. Where democracy will seemingly slide toward totalitarianism via increased state-controlled centralizing digital systems (CBDCs tracking every transaction, IDs dictating access). But humanity could resist through decentralized tools (Bitcoin evading control, NOSTR enabling free speech). Our “new realities and convergences” could be voluntary, and thus virtuous, thanks to the magic that is cryptography.

Is anyone aware of any plebs or orgs building accounting software for bitcoin and fiat, which is not already or moving towards a cloud based spying solution?
