Calorie restricting is an ineffective, antiquated paradigm for weight loss. Sure you'll lose weight initially but soon your body will perceive the undereating as a threat to its survival. In it's infinite wisdom it'll shut down it's fat burning to preserve the energy needed to keep you alive. You may also start to gain weight back without eating any excess food. You'll be frustrated and hangry.
Consume a low/no carb, high fat diet rich in saturated fat and cholesterol from ruminant animals, which will lend itself easily and naturally into fasting. This will be effortless! It will rev up your metabolism and burn the fat off your body for its energy (instead of the glucose from a carb-centric diet) and with it, chew up dead cells, old proteins, and waste in your system. Not only will your clothes get looser, you'll gain energy, balance your hormones, sleep better and think clearer. Eventually, weight loss is no longer the focus as you'll be so high on those ketone bodies running through your brain, elevating your mood, smoothing out your psyche and putting a dance in your everyday step.
This is the natural state of human beings.
