Flotilla 1.3.1 is out — this release fixes some bugs, including a pretty nasty memory leak that was causing the app to crash. Upgrade on zapstore and please let me know if you spot any other stability problems!
Fantastic podcast episode on defining conservatism: Navigating between fascism and revolution for its own sake is an incredibly narrow road. The two sides of classical liberalism I think often get conflated with the thing the other side fears. We need both rights and responsibilities, memory and imagination, tearing down and building up.
"The conservative principles par excellence are proportion and measure; self-expression through self-restraint; preservation through reform; humanism and classical balance; a fruitful nostalgia for the permanent beneath the flux; and a fruitful obsession for unbroken historical continuity. These principles together create freedom, a freedom built not on the quicksand of adolescent defiance but on the bedrock of ethics and law." Peter Viereck
Anyone doing anything in nashville this afternoon? Thinking about checking out the Johnny Cash museum.
Just released a minimal shipyard.pub DVM since @PABLOF7z's seems to be down. If you want to run a scheduler, see here: I also just released a new version of Coracle which points to the new DVM. If your client schedules notes and is currently broken, you should be able to point it at `5f13f66425c39afa13afd82870952e10d584cebd87f9d02f00ccd871aaaae9eb` and go on your merry way — I did my best to make it compatible with the original.
