I was reading this old magazine at my grandparents house from 1990. There’s a section in the magazine about WW1 and how in Montana there was an effort to silence Americans from German decent and legislation was passed that encroached on freedom of speech. It’s wild to read about how the American government has been taking the same shit just a different flavor on its people for over a 100 years.
