It's not even expensive, equivalent hotels and restaurants are cheaper. If you factor in tax free income, it's 50% cheaper still. You can see a vision, a future, pride in building something. No graffiti, no bums, no litter. Nobody asking you for change. Nobody trying to intimidate you. Feels chill & safe as fwck. Not even many lambos. Why's it like this? Because they don't have a sovereign debt bubble or high time preference dEmOcRaCY. It's really not hard. Allow people to work and let them keep most of what they earn. I wish the west would go back to this but until then we're going to need alternatives.
