Papa needs some beer money, for the NEW YEAR!
Won $250 on 2 different tickets at work today. Cost $175 buying tickets but still worked out. Almost every ticket sale is to the drunks coming from the bar across the street, so they almost always scratch then in the store and ask you to check them. Makes it easy to check the odds on the back if each ticket and keep tabs of how many losers have come up and when to and a few myself.
I have to find a new place to live just so I have a second bathroom. Seems every time I need the bathroom, I'm waiting half a day for one off my teenage daughters to get out.
Time to watch my checking account balance decrease. If anybody wants to pay someone elses living expenses for fun, just let me know.
I spent so much time testing different note apps and setups to sync .txt & .md notes between Android and Linux via Syncthing. Nothing seemed to work. Turns out I've been causing myself unnecessary stress because I had the solution installed the entire time. Sync the note folder and use Markor on the Android side. Done. Easy. Realized this while quickly editing an HTML file. I feel silly.
Bored at work. Bought $120 worth of lotto tickets. Was losing on them all. Scratched the last ticket and won $500. Bam. One bill gone.
Merry Chrisrmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, etc. Enjoy your holiday season and be excellent to each other. Nobody likes a Grinch.
In case anybody wants to buy a random stranger on the internet a new watch for Xmas. My wife says I don't need another watch.

Can somebody explain npub.cash to me? Is there any benefit to using a Cashu-Address vs standard Lightning?
My Christmas wish is this Dirty Dozen inspired watch by Vaer.

Hmmm, Mastodon instance is down. I could pole around and see what's going on...or, I could consider this a sign to shut it down. I think we're gonna shut it down. Although, it is a good platform to use for communication with some FOSS projects, maybe I'll throw out a suggestion to come over to NOSTR first.
Alby shitting down shared wallet in January. Switched to using StackerNews temporarily and they are now doing the same. Testing jawsh@coinos.io hopefully this week work for zaps for a little while at least. Once I catch up on a these bullshit bills I can top up my Bitcoin wallet and skin up my own node.
Syncing notes between Android and Linux should be simple enough, but it seems that no Android note apps store notes as separate txt, md, etc. So even when you get your directory to sync, you're still unable to open and view them on the Linux side.
