Ordered a pair of Soundcore Life P3i earbuds on sale for $33. My lovely daughter managed to leave my 2 previous sets of Soundcores, Galaxy Buds, AirPods & few cheap pairs of buds laying around and my dog chewed them all to hell. I've owned a fair amount of earbuds from different manufacturers & Soundcore takes the cake when it comes to good sound for a fair price.
The progress on mobile #linux is very usable. I used a #pinephone as a daily driver for about 2 years and my main complaint was speed (hardware issue) and battery life. The battery life improved and became less of an issue due to not checking my phone because of constant notifications and distractions. It's to bad more resources aren't available to further improve on this.

Hmmmm. Super weird that I can't successfully install LineageOS to this POCO X3 NFC. Other roms based on the same Android version and firmware install fine. Slightly annoying but it's not main device so I'll use what flashes successfully.
I might start using my Cash App card more often, especially to pay for planned expenses. Currently I have payment roundups that go into my savings account but just noticed with Cash App I can do Bitcoin roundups, which is kinda neat. I won't use it as my main wallet but the fact it can act as a checking & savings account, Bitcoin wallet and be used to buy and sell some stocks, is somewhat appealing.

So, some cool info on the Pixel 8 from Spectrum Mobile. If you visit the Google Store repair page online and input the imei, it actually shows as the Google Fi variant of the device. I fully expected it to identify a Verizon variant since Spectrum Mobile is an MVNO and uses Verizons network. This means that once you network unlock the device, it should also enable OEM/bootloader unlocking. Now I just wish there was a way to convince Spectrum to unlock early for me, without needing to pay the entire device off first. I would love to debloat and run GrapheneOS or even just a deGoogled AOSP build as well as install an esim for my work line.
