Quote of the day from Gladys at ElSalvador411.com
"Just tell me your issue or problem and we'll find a solution. It's only a matter of time and patience, we got it though. "
This is why we will win.
We found Galaxy Bowling in San Salvador
It's less than $3 on Uber or Indriver to get there one way from the Bitcoin Landing Spot.
They don't accept Bitcoin...yet
Staff is friendly and attentive
It's a dated older style bowling alley but works good.
The best deals are midweek when it's slow
Three of us bowled for $18.75 for just over 2 hours in their Wednesday special.
Food is a little pricey but good.
The video games are hit and miss if they even work but staff will give you your money back if the coin gets stuck.
All in all it's a pretty good family time out and highly recommended for something different when in the city.

Buses are safe to take in El Salvador now, even with kids. Rides are .25- 0.35 cents per adult and small kids ride free.
This bus is number 52 which goes up Paseo Gral Escalon back to the Bitcoin Landing Spot.

The grass is NOT greener on the other side of the fence. It's greener where you water it.
And El Salvador is water the fcuk out of their grass.

When moving to El Salvador, the more you want to live like a local, the more small change and coins you will need to carry around with you as many small shops and comedors might have a difficult time breaking anything larger than $5 bill. It's a work in progress and slowly more small businesses are accepting Bitcoin.

How do we handle Bitcoin volatility to pay bills?
We've accepted Bitcoin for our room stays and then seen Bitcoin dip 5% in the following weeks, and then, boom...bills are due.
We use a wallet that allows us to accept Bitcoin as stablesats which uses derivative contracts to hold the value against the USD. We then use those "stablesats" to pay bills with Bitcoin using an ecommerce platform.
We then pay our employees and buy supplies at Bitcoin friendly businesses. Finally, IF there is anything left over we will move some stablesats over to Bitcoin for emergency funds, not long term HODLing since right now everything is the red as we create this new industry on the Bitcoin standard.
It's possible, work on the world you wish to see.
Spocking out a new house near the beach for some clients ....

Chillin in a Salvadoran traffic jam

This is the best chain ice cream shop in El Salvador. If you're not sure what to get they will give you up to three tasting samples if you ask.
My personal favorite, galleta (Oreo)

This is the general morning view for coffee time
Not sure what I'm doing here so bear with me to start, soon it will be epic.
Yesterday we hosted NOSTR Day El Salvador 2023. While we had some technical difficulties and hiccups we were happy with the turnout and saw a great mix of expats and local Salvadoranos.

Just as I'm creating this account the corpus Christi parade is going by you never really know what to expect here in El Salvador.
