While this thread mostly discusses physical products I think this is an interesting discussion for #Nostr. What graceful failure modes are we building into the apps, the protocol etc? There’s the obvious relay based decentralization at the core of Nostr but what else needs a graceful fail?

While the world may seem like it is on fire, people often don’t / won’t act until they feel like there are no other options. Revolutions work best when people have nothing left to lose.
Big tech’s hard lean into AI for surveillance and job replacement means many more people have reached a point where something new is possible.
I’m personally excited about the opportunities 2025 brings to decentralize technology ownership and by extension communication technology and media etc.
There is so much potential to make a much better future.

Experimented with a drawing app for photos. Works for landscapes, not so much for people.🙄 This airline can’t even get you from point A to point B without delays and then spends $ to shame its customers. I already avoid them but this is even more incentive.
