Some late night thoughts... There's an argument to be made that Bitcoin, or money, would not be needed once singularity is reached. So what is the point of Bitcoin? Ray Kurzweil believes the best way to protect society from the risks of AGI, is to build a society that reflects the values we want the AGI to have. A society which promotes poor values would create an AGI with equally poor values. What if Bitcoin's real end game, was not just to restore a sound money society? What if Bitcoin's end game was to pave the way for a non-biological intelligence that aligns its interests with ours? Where we're going money won't be needed, but where we're going depends on it.

Bitcoin can be a tool for empowerment, for a fairer world. Bitcoin can also be a tool for oppression, for control. Bitcoin has no virtue, put it to use for what you want it to be.

Am I understanding right that NIP57 requires the invoice description of the Zap invoice to be set to the Zap request? Running into issues where the invoice description byte size is higher than the LND limit, so wondering if I'm reading the spec wrong. @jb55
