It's beautiful to receive well-made #code reviews. They can provide insights on many small things you might have missed.
Focusing on details brings out amazing results.

We are just strings in a puppet show
Please keep in mind:
There are no rare sats.
Spam undermines #bitcoin fungibility due to more heuristics being applied to transactions.
From @IIICapital on Twitter:
Unpopular opinion: The block size limit exists to ensure everyone can run a full node and verify, set, and enforce rules. Itβs not about the "security budget" and block space scarcity which is a made up problem.
#bitcoin
As our #Bitcoin community expands, preserving our core values becomes more challenging.
We must prioritize increasing node counts to maintain decentralization.
It's essential that both new and existing users run their own nodes β the health of Bitcoin depends on it!
You should run a #bitcoin node.
Try Bitcoin Knots
While discussing transaction filtering, it's crucial to remember the core principle: nodes, not miners, should drive what's included in the chain, because nodes enforce network rules, ensuring decentralization.
This pic is very disappointing.
Caring about the chain is crucial for the future of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin has value only because of the nodes that run it, all efforts should aim to increase node counts.

Miners need to honor nodes choices rather than bypass them with out-of-band transactions.
We must challenge this undermining of our network.
The current state is frankly pathetic.
While we all cherish the decentralized freedom #bitcoin offers, it's crucial to talk about the impact of spam transactions on the network.
These not only bloat the blockchain but also slow down our nodes. Let's prioritize network health for a more robust Bitcoin ecosystem!
A very nice video from about the state of Bitcoin in 2024.
We are the network and we should take care of it, watch it if you have some time:
I believe the current fork proposals (except for consensus cleanup) are an attack on #Bitcoin. We don't need bigger blocks or denser transactions. We need stability on the base layer and to build better layers on top. #Lightning and #eCash are good examples of what we can do if we focus on what is important instead of trying to kill the base layer.
Spent the afternoon trying #cashu and I loved it.
Finally TS repos I can play with.

I have my first PR ready to improve #snort !
It does fix the unpin functionality which is currently broken. Waiting for the permission from the repo maintainer to open the PR π
Just watched a video about e-cash #Cashu.
Where is the database with the minted token amount and owners stored?
Please correct me if my question does not make sense.
