Here’s an idea, and I’m just spitballin here: A 120v 10amp bitcoin miner with a large aluminum heat sink and a quiet fan that people could use as home miners or small heater like people use space heaters under cubical desks. And easy setup with wired, Wi-Fi, hotspot, and built-in vpn and obfuscation Does it exist? I feel like that would be an easy miner to sell.

I’m having a friendly war game with my IT department. I got approved to try mining at work for educational purposes. My IT buddy says he thinks he can 100% block my mining. So far he blocked all the mining sites on the work firewall which didn’t stop the miner. Then recently he blocked ports which did interfere with mining. Since then I tried to connect the bitaxe to a hotspot to bypass the network but that didn’t work and felt like cheating. My next attempt will be bringing in a Wi-Fi router, set it up as an AP with VPN tunneling. Wish me luck!
