I'm no fan of The State, but I could get behind a new law requiring any and all data collection to be opt-in only, off by default.
UTF-8 encoding/decoding is wild. I never appreciated how elegant it is, until having to implement it. Ken Thompson is an absolute beast.

Have been working on adding #kotlin coroutine support to kmp-file via extension module. By and large, Js & WasmJs have been the most work figuring out how best to integrate it. Pretty happy with how the API is shaping up though.
