FIPs time! So this is a slightly forked GitWorkshop running on https like a boring old fashioned website... However, that repo its displaying is FIPs only baby 😉 Sat on my network, no tunnels, no cloudflare, no dns, no routing. The whole thing is mind blowing. I have so many other ideas for stuff like this... @DanConwayDev - successfully nerd sniped I guess I don't need all that Forgejo work I did last week! This one should be way more agent native. Obviously I'm excited for the nerdy cool stuff here (weirdly the wife hasn't yet realised how cool i'm being here, but we live in hope), but the longer term play here is that THE UX IS BETTER HERE... Not having to deal with cloudflare, tunnels, DNS is 1000x improvement and makes everything way way more normie friendly as I can now do your networking for you!

About a week ago i wondered if I could use FIPs (

) to access some apps on a remote machine.... I now have a simple Nostr based web browser with built in signer, runs on Mac, Linux, iPhone and Android for all my devices. This runs my Wingman Flight Deck my custom Human+Agents Multiplayer Workspace. That talks to Wingman Tower (a custom nostr based back end as a service) via FIPs. I have multiple Wingman Autopilots (agents, workflows, app hosting - like Repl.it in a self hosted box) all apps are accessible over FIPs, the UI for autopilot over FIPs, connections from the Autopilot to Tower.... Over FIPs. One of the most annoying parts of the setup was always getting all the domains, certificates, tunnels etc setup for these services. ALL OF IT HAS GONE AWAY. THIS FEELS LIKE MAGIC! Is this the Cypherpunk future we were promised?

A nice thing about FIPs is I can have a team of people and agents predefined in my teams collaboration system, so I already know who they all are. Then I decide we need a new micro app to get something done. Speak to the agent, he hosts it on my FIPS server. My FIPs proxy firewall throws out the traffic of anyone that isn't in that team anyone on the list gets in and can sign in with Nostr. I don't need to register anything with Cloudflare, I dont need to buy domains and the whole thing is secured with Nostr IDs so there is no additional Auth overhead, email setup, sign in links... its just there and it works. No more API keys, no extra groups just "Oi Rick, the team would like this, build and deploy" ... and boom there it is and accessible to the team. I've been prototyping this and it feels like literal magic. @npub1s0ve...rmq5
