To me, the bitcoin rabbit hole comes with a fair amount of depression. Sometimes I would rather not know. Be the regular matrix guy. Live the simple life. But once you know, there’s no going back. So here we are, free, yet against the world. Not talking about any of it when sitting in a pub with my closest friends. Sure, Bitcoin woke me up. I’m glad. But sometimes, I swear… If you feel anything like this, my advice is to create something. Write an article about what you like and post it on Nostr. Paint a picture and give it to a friend. Make or fix something. It helps cut through this messed up world. I got hit by bitcoin during the first months of COVID, when the world seemed to be ending. So I received a special double-trouble edition. I’ll never forget those days. Around the same time, I got a call from a few guys from the Apostolic Church to join them in an evangelical campaign called Story316. I ended up making 1.5-meter-high symbols covered in mirror foil and cruising empty roads and locations to take photos. To this day, it’s still one of my favorite campaigns I’ve worked on, though it was surrounded by pain. That’s how it goes sometimes. More about this campaign another day. Are you like this too?
