I’m an ancient historian. I post a lot of quotes from the ancients, direct from my primary sources - what we historians refer to as our “history bibles.” Red for the Romans - Green for the Greeks. Known as the Loeb Classical Library, published by Harvard University Press. The translations of the content date back to over 100 years ago.
