Second desk built …. And it fits perfectly under the first built desk, just like I hoped it would. 🎉 After reading lots of problem reviews on L- shaped desks, I decided to buy 2 and make my own. 💡 The lighter wood desk is 28” tall (which works great for my chair and keyboard), and the dark wood desk is 30”+ tall, a good height for working with my iPad. The extra space by the wall is for an existing file cabinet- wanted to make sure the desk situation worked out first because file cabinet is very heavy and annoying to move, even when empty. 🗄️ End tables and piles o’ stuff will be relocated tomorrow. Finished watching Sugar on Apple TV+. I liked what they did with it. It’s neo-noir, so all the noir tropes are there: voice over, private detective, femme fatale, betrayal, violence… but with a modern interpretation on some aspects. Did Not see the reveal at the end of ep 6 (thought about it, then dismissed the thought). Did get the later reveal just before it happened. Sugar (Colin Farrell’s character) is big into movies, so his life is intercut with scenes from various noir movies, which is an interesting style choice. It’s a slow burn, a kind of WTH reveal that will make sense and is essential to the plot. #appletv #tvstr #sugar #noir
