Not making much art in June because I’m clearing and rearranging and organizing my studio room. So here’s some past art from when I did the Index Card A Day challenge in 2021. These are regular 3” x 5” index cards using mixed media art supplies and a sticker from the Antiquarian Sticker Book my sister gave me. It’s really interesting looking at these 4 years later. Local B&N bookstore is closing because they opened a new store further north. Now that I’m home, no more mountain road, so I started walking the path near a creek again. 👣 Did 0.5 miles yesterday and my right foot handled it well. Went up to 0.8 miles today … and feeling achy, but no sharp pain, so still good. 👍 Going to keep the length at 0.8 for this week and see how it goes. The biggest obstacle is waking up in the morning (because I’m such a night owl🦉) but given the heat and humidity at this time of year, morning is the best time for me to be outside.
