People may not realize but #cannabis cultivation was always a global decentralized movement that simply disobeyed immortal laws and literally overwhelmed (illegitimate) authority with action. Supply meeting demand in a voluntary decentralized / uncoordinated way despite unjust demands of ruler Anarcho-capitalism in motion. I think the same may be happening with dark markets being build on #nostr and #bitcoin. If there are enough market participants who are refusing to comply with local regulatory and tax rules then enforcement of those rules will become impossible at scale. Individuals choosing to ignore illegitimate authority and engage in voluntary economic interactions as a way to improve their our own lives. This is what I see happening. This what I practice.

Global parallel dark markets running on #nostr are being built right here, right now. #bitcoin and #lightning as unstoppable settlement rails. Plebs providing value and consuming it. What an interesting and inspiring moment in time. Just 20 years ago this was only ancap fiction. Now it’s assembled itself with no coordination or centralization… just needed the tools to make it happen. The “support Nostr businesses” movement is here to stay.
