NASA’s X-59 embarks on critical taxi tests, advancing toward the goal of quiet supersonic flight. The aircraft aims to transform noisy sonic booms into a mere “thump,” allowing supersonic travel over land. Featuring advanced technology, the X-59’s design includes an elongated nose and ultrathin wings to disperse shock waves. This innovation could revolutionize air travel, offering faster, environmentally friendly supersonic flights. image

Underwater archaeologists discovered a wooden face that dates back more than 1,000 years. Experts say the face may have been used to ward off evil spirits from the settlement. Similar carvings have been discovered in other Slavic cities, suggesting a larger spiritual practice in medieval Slavic life. image

🚀 China has unveiled a revolutionary hypersonic engine capable of reaching 12,250 mph, promising to transform global travel. 🌐 The engine’s dual-mode detonation process offers up to 80% energy conversion efficiency, far surpassing conventional engines. ✈️ Hypersonic propulsion could drastically reduce flight times, making journeys like London to Sydney possible in just 90 minutes. 🛡️ Military applications are significant, as Mach 16 speeds make vehicles nearly impossible to intercept with current defense systems. image

"Black holes this massive are forbidden through standard stellar evolution models," Mark Hannam at the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO), which made the detection, said in a statement about the work. "This is the most massive black hole binary we've observed through gravitational waves, and it presents a real challenge to our understanding of black hole formation." image

"For decades, humanity has obsessed over emotions, identity, and personal expression—but when AI emerged, capable of analyzing, creating, and evolving faster than any human mind, suddenly people began fearing replacement. Yet where was that same passion when we ignored each other’s pain, dismissed loneliness, or commodified empathy?"

"He spent his whole life preparing—studying, waiting, refining himself—for the day he’d meet the one. And when love finally arrived, wrapped in tenderness, friendship, and dreams of a shared future, he realized too late that what he found wasn’t just a woman, but a mind burdened by chaos—too unstable to nurture life, too fractured to build legacy."

Scope of Impact Billions of accounts: Facebook has ~3 billion users; Gmail serves over 1.8 billion. A combined breach could expose more than half of the global online population. Personal data: Private messages, photos, videos, location data, emails, passwords, and even deleted content could be compromised. Institutional risks: Government agencies, corporations, journalists, and activists using these platforms could be vulnerable to espionage, blackmail, or manipulation.
