"At a time when Israel is fighting on seven fronts, we deeply appreciate the steadfast support of our Christian friends around the world. You've stood by our side, you've stood by our side resiliently, consistently, forcefully as Israel defends our civilization against barbarism," Netanyahu said.

"Meanwhile, Washington's nuclear policies, such as its AUKUS submarine cooperation with the UK and Australia, undermine the international nuclear non-proliferation system and significantly disrupt international and regional peace and stability, Zhang noted. He urged the US to engage in serious self-reflection and provide a responsible account to the international community. The spokesman also addressed the Taiwan question, warning that attempts to separate the island from mainland China will never be tolerated. “The Chinese people are determined to defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity,” he said, slamming Washington’s arms sales and military aid to Taipei as a violation of the one-China principle."

The Russian military has eliminated a German-made Leopard tank in Ukraine’s Kharkov Region, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday, sharing aerial footage confirming the destruction. In its report, the ministry stated that the Leopard had been spotted by a reconnaissance UAV and subsequently targeted by several FPV drones. Video footage shows the tank engulfed in flames after suffering multiple hits from the kamikaze drones. In addition to the Leopard, Russian forces destroyed two other tanks, an M113 armored personnel carrier, two pickup trucks, five Soviet D30 howitzers, and four US-made M101 and M119 howitzers while repelling a failed Ukrainian counter-attack, in which Kiev lost up to 440 troops, according to Saturday’s update from the Defense Ministry.

Musk proposes cognitive tests for US officials. The US should consider introducing mandatory mental fitness tests for public officials, entrepreneur and Trump acolyte Elon Musk has suggested. His comments follow reports that an 81-year-old sitting congresswoman who was feared missing had, in fact, been placed in a nursing home for individuals with dementia. The scandal erupted this week after local media reported that Kay Granger, a Republican lawmaker in Texas who has held a seat in the House of Representatives for nearly 30 years, had been absent from her office for the past six months, with her team being completely unreachable. Employees at a dementia care assisted living facility confirmed that Granger was living there, The Dallas Express reported on Friday. A further investigation revealed that Granger was in fact a resident of the Fort Worth facility, which specializes in treating people with dementia. The congresswoman announced last October that she would not seek re-election, with her term due to expire in January. Commenting on the reports on Sunday, Musk suggested on X: “Maybe we should have some basic cognitive test for elected officials? This is getting crazy.”

image “I will sign executive orders to end child sexual mutilation, remove transgender individuals from the military, and prevent them from entering our elementary, middle, and high schools,” Trump stated, signaling a return to policies dismantled during the Biden administration. Additionally, he promised to enforce a ban on trans athletes in women’s sports. "It will be the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders: male and female,” he declared.

“The American people deserve answers as to what the hell is going on,” the representative Pat Ryan, a New York Democrat, said on Tuesday. “We’ve got a serious national security issue.” The representative Chris Smith, a New Jersey Republican, raised even more alarms on Saturday, attributing the “elusive maneuvering” of the drones to “major, military-power sophistication”, perhaps that of Russia, China, Iran or North Korea. On Thursday, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) banned drones from flying at all in parts of New Jersey for a month."

image A Christmas miracle! Earlier this month, a puppy was found abandoned in a storm drain in Austin, Texas, weighing less than 4 lbs. at 12-weeks-old. The Jack Russell Terrier was eventually rescued by the Austin Fire Department and provided life-saving care by the animal rescue Austin Pets Alive (APA!). Now, the organization tells PEOPLE that the canine was adopted by Nisa Wilson and her family ahead of the holiday season.

“The D-brand has been so maligned from the standpoint of, it’s just, it’s toxic,” Manchin told CNN’s Manu Raju in an interview that aired Sunday, citing the shift as the reason why he left the party. Adding that he no longer considers himself a Democrat “in the form of what Democratic Party has turned itself into,” Manchin — who has long been a pivotal swing vote in the Senate — said the party’s brand has become about telling people what they can and can’t do, blaming progressives for the change."

Looking at the lifecycle of FREE Playstore/Appstore applications, it becomes obvious that paid models represent a better investment option for any user or developer; paid models offer privacy and security because the tech companies behind the apps protect their investments and customers. This maximizes safety, transparency, accountability and user feedback. I hope Web3 removes the clutter of FREE apps on Playstores/Appstores and introduces Bitcoin payment options. This would allow both developers and users to earn/award Bitcoin at a global scale.

image The exact number of near-death experiences (NDEs) worldwide is difficult to quantify, as such events are subjective and rely on self-reported accounts. However, studies and surveys suggest that millions of people globally have reported NDEs. Here are some key insights: 1. Incidence in the Population: A 2001 Gallup poll in the U.S. found that 15% of adults reported having had an NDE. Estimates suggest that 5% to 15% of the global population may have had an NDE. 2. Medical Context: NDEs are most commonly reported during life-threatening situations, such as cardiac arrests, surgeries, or severe accidents. Advances in medical technology and resuscitation have likely increased the number of people experiencing NDEs, as more individuals are revived from near-fatal conditions. 3. Studies and Research: The International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) has cataloged tens of thousands of NDE accounts. Renowned studies, such as those by Dr. Raymond Moody and Dr. Bruce Greyson, have compiled thousands of case reports over decades. While no exact global statistic exists, the phenomenon is well-documented and studied across cultures, with consistent themes like out-of-body experiences, encounters with a "light," and feelings of peace.
