A new Respond as setting lets each receiving account default to a different connected account for replies and reactions, so an inbox account no longer has to answer for itself. Notification Reply, the notification reaction and the composer all follow it, and you can still switch before sending. Copy note ID now copies a nostr: nevent link with the author and public relay hints.

Bell 0.14.0 is on Zapstore. Translation now only produces the reading language you chose and keeps the original when the engine answers in another language. Image and video links show as the picture alone, while the link stays in the signed post. Reactions place as soon as you pick an emoji, Reply opens a ready composer, loading uses a small calm spinner, and returning to Bell from another app no longer freezes the timeline.

Bell 0.13.0 is on Zapstore. Incoming notifications for connected accounts now have Reply, Mark read and a favorite-emoji reaction. Each notification saves the account Bell picked for it, and Reply and the reaction use that account. Mark read only affects the displayed post, on your device. The reaction button starts the usual Amber signing flow, or reads React and opens the emoji picker if the account has no favorite. Watch-only notifications have no reaction button, and sending a reply needs a connected account.

On upgrade, sounds you chose and alerts you silenced or changed stay as they are, and what changes depends on your Android version. The black reaction heart now has a black fill and a thin neutral outline that follows its shape, with no white backing.
