When I joined nostr I had been waiting for something like it to be invented for years. At the time I was genuinely shocked to see how many bitcoiners chose to stay on centralized platforms. I understand their positions now, but I couldn't be happier with my choice to allocate my time here instead of other places. Is the tech polished and easy to use? Mostly no, but I love it and I stay because nostr aligns with my values. The connections and relationships I've built through nostr, while small in number, are profound in their depth.
