“I love sharing Rocket’s successes even after over 3 years with me. Today, Rocket and I walked to the mailbox. While we were at the mailbox and I was getting mail, a car with those creepy dark tinted windows pulled up. I could barely see the person. Rocket immediately identified this as a suspicious potential threat. He was on high alert, not aggressive or pulling or anything like that. I told him I see it but I didn’t tell him it was ok so he remained watchful and alert. There is no doubt in my mind if that person exited the car and was truly a threat, he would have taken them very quickly on command. I also firmly believe that if the person exited the car and I told him it was ok and to leave it, he was relaxed enough that he would not have reacted at all and we could go on our way. To me that is a fabulous combination of protection and stability. Isn’t he the best dog ever???“
