Traveling later today. So of course I'm wide awake since 430am.

Today was a complete shit show. I get my hair done twice a year - appointment was for 5pm tonight. I get off work at 4, it's POURING. My car doesn't start. I try a few more times before calling @Derek Ross. He comes to my rescue. We get my car jumped and get it home. I get to my hair appointment just in time. Hair takes 2 1/2 hours (I get it done so infrequently that I honestly forget how long it takes). We then take my car to Auto Zone - they close in an hour and are not capable of changing the battery. It's now nearly 9pm. I message my mechanic and tell him I'm being presumptuous, but we're leaving my car in the parking lot so he can look at the battery. My mechanic is awesome and going to deal with this first thing. Next problem is that Derek leaves for NYC in the AM. Hopefully a friend can take me to get my car when it's ready. I'm so over today 😭 #NeededToBitch #ThankYouForListening

Benny had to come home with us Sunday evening. I won't complain too much because he did kind of need a bath & a makeover The winter tenants have been evicted and all their crap tossed to the curb 😂😂 It's time for our daughter to make him look handsome again. @Derek Ross and I watched Wheels of Fortune this weekend. It was a terrible mix of Billy Madison and Talladega Nights. Unless you're REALLY bored, do yourself a favor and skip it, and watch either Billy Madison or Talladega Nights - you'll be happier.

12 year old daughter to me: "Mom, can you go get my bookshelf out of the basement, I want it in my room" Me: "sure, I'll get it after dinner" 12 year old daughter: "I'll just go get it" Me: "you're not going to be able to get it, just wait" 12 year old daughter comes upstairs 3 minutes later carrying her bookshelf. This was definitely a "hold my beer" moment if a 12 year old can have one 😂😂😂
