I have not "social media'd" in quite some time. My office is going through some major changes - I'm learning faster and faster that the better an employee you are, the more work you get and the more you are taken advantage of. So, my time is unevenly split between work, kids home and work again - it's getting rough over here! A mental health day is in my near future. With all of that being said, my 14 year old son made me laugh last night when he excitedly opened this cookie container and was disappointed that it didn't contain sewing stuff 😂

@Derek Ross blew my mind last night! So, there we are, in the kitchen making dinner. I'm getting ready to boil the potatoes he just cut. Derek tells me I should dump out the water that was in the pot and put new water in - rinsing the starch will prevent a gross over-boil... 🤯🤯🤯 IT. WORKED!! If y'all didn't know this nifty trick - try it! (I'm slightly annoyed that I'm 40 and JUST learned this) Yes, I'm in awe of my husb 💜🤣🧡
