This current core team implemented taproot with unlimited datacarrier inputs, opening the door for inscriptions. Then they changed the definition of datacarrier and stopped the attempted patch. Now they want to open up the other end of datacarrier to allow for fully congruent plain text outputs to be relayed. They have lied and gaslit us, even pushing a fake story about knots users planning or being “tricked” into a hard fork. Core’s main argument is that “spam is already possible” while they themselves are the ones who enabled it in its current form with taproot. Is it incompetence? Or implementation of an agenda?
