As I enter my 4th year in #Bitcoin I reflect back and am so appreciative of all that it’s taught me, from economics to energy, ethics to politics, software to hardware, tinkering and problem solving, self sovereign to self custody to central banks, history, philosophy, proof of work, time preference, community & family.
This was a fantastic podcast by @Peter McCormack to start the year. Amazing conversation, and salient points. The huge difference our small community can make in so many areas. And, not necessarily looking for jobs in Bitcoin, but staying where you are, making a difference where you are - doing what you’re good at or passionate about.
I feel so blessed to be in the US practicing ophthalmology, especially here in the great state of Texas. Feel a profound sense of gratitude everyday for this gift and wondering how best to make a more tangible contribution in 2024.
