A very unexpected takeaway from this episode the meaning of the Jewish word ‘Dayenu’ meaning “it would have been enough”. It is a response to God when He brought Israel out of Egyptian slavery and that that alone would have been enough, But God not only released them, but was leading them to the promise land, to their inheritance, gave them the Law and sustained them in their journey despite their rebellion in the wilderness. @bitstein masterfully provided the parallel to Satoshis implementation of Bitcoin but I can’t help thinking of all the promises from God, the gift of the Holy Spirit, and that He calls us to be conquered and co heirs with Christ. Jesus death on the cross for our sin “would have been more than enough”. nostr:note144zx93ytj7zlce3nc0znmdvymyn8vwtlp6463hyhruwxqljp8vpsxfxsh8

Why is it such that nocoiners have this subconscious belief that we have reached the end of monetary history with fiat currencies? I’m sure the average 15th century Italian thought nothing would replace the Florentine Florin, and that was a relatively good money used for nearly 300 years! But that didn’t last. https://timelineofmoney.com/#florentineflorin
