Inverloch, Wonthaggi and Wilson’s Promontory Inverloch - quiet little coastal town. Nice long walks along the coast. Saw a seal diving for fish in the channel. It was awesome Wonthaggi - short drive from inverloch. Home of the State Coal Mine where you can do an underground mine tour. This was really cool. Though dad was in charge of photos and dad is shit at taking photos 🙋🏻‍♂️ Wilson’s promontory. The southern most mainland tip of Australia. It’s all national park and pictures do not do it justice. Absolutely must see if you are touring. Sorry no doggos allowed image image image image image image image image image image

Mallacoota!! Just over the NSW/VIC border, this was our first stop in VIC. Awesome little seaside town. Huge tidal lake system packed full of bream and flathead. VIC had a long weekend we weren’t aware of so ended up staying here longer than we’d liked but it was actually a nice forced holiday from our holiday. A few nice relaxing days of long walks and bike rides and a bit of swimming. There were plenty of kids about so the boys had an absolute ball making new friends. We barely saw them as they were off adventuring, playing in the playground, riding bikes and playing soccer…. Barely a device turned on for 5days….magic A few wild koalas in the trees throughout the park too. Spectacular to see them in the wild which is pretty rare for us Nth Qld’ers. Few big grey kangaroos come down to watch the boys playing soccer. One big boy looked pretty buff. image image image image image image image image image image image

Tathra Beach Narooma Merimbula Saw a wild seal……rad!!! Narooma is a really cool place. From Australia Rock to wild Seals. Long boardwalk and coastal bike path. Tathra had nice little swell for surfing. Picked up just as we left as the southern end of nsw benefited from swell from TC Alfred all the way up the coast. image image image image image image image image image image image

Losing track of days….. But since our last post we have spent time in Shellharbour, south of Sydney. Took the kids and wifey on the famous Bondi to Coogee coastal walk, a quick lap around the opera house and across the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Then onto Ulladulla and surfing at Mollymook Beach. Mollymook is simply stunning and great little beginner beach breaks. A few days surfing at Broulee beach, a quiet little coastal town. If you think i am bored of exploring beaches, surfing, sand, lookouts and coastal walks. Think again.

From Day 16-19 we were in undisclosed location (so as not to dox some Bitcoin friends) From Day 19 to 24 we went south the Port Stephen’s area and stayed at Fingal Bay. Fucking magic. We were originally only staying 3months but stayed longer. Nice small surf for boys to learn. Nice cafes and restaurants everywhere between Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay and Fingal Bay. Nature, sun, surf. It might seem boring to some but we are loving our best lives. Starting to get a bit cold for these Nth Qld’ers. Jumpers have been out more than once in these evening winds. Bought some steamers so we can surf all winter long, as long as we don’t die from frostbite. Kids school going well. Been working on factors, times tables and division. Holes in their game we didn’t know exist. (Rolls eyes at school). Youngest fella really resonated with grouping m’n’ms into groups, somehow don’t think pebbles would have worked as well… 😂🤣 image image image image image image image image image image image

I’m enjoying doing….not much at all, yet I am consistently filling my days. In bed by 8:30 exhausted. Swimming, surfing, fishing, walking, biking, hiking, exploring…. This is living Barry.

Not doing any more real time posts so I can share more of our adventures. Post to come tomorrow (maybe) but current location is our favourite so far. Been here 5days. Hot tip: Get your kids Fluro Bitcoin orange Rashies Spot them easily in any crowd. Worked a treat at a recent water park. Could let them have more autonomy and freedom as we could find them easily. image
