Out of complete boredom, I took out my dusty Jade that I never used. Battery dead. Connected to USB-C, the thing booted. Unlocked, connected to the “companion device with Blockstream app”, got firmware update prompt. Clicked “yes, LFG”, and it started, with zero charge, on a usb cable. So, if I pull the cable did I brick my device? Why does it not check the battery status? Is it resilient to power outage during update? So many questions. P.S. Boredom is fun, you end up doing shit you wouldn’t otherwise do 😂

Today’s moderation queue was actually inspiring. I’ve seen a ton of videos and other media from different npubs sharing and I felt hopeful at last. Diverse, interesting, engaging.
