I left Facebook moments after Charlie Kirk was killed because I was afraid of seeing people I know and love celebrate demonically over his gruesome public murder. I left X today because everything has gone full circle. The gaslighting, the fake outrage of text messages, the meaningless protests that leaves the average American at a loss when they’re late to work over traffic disruptions. I need to get to know this app. I want to connect, stay informed and feel a little more free. I’m no intellect or academic. I’m average. My moral compass is strong, my faith in God is becoming stronger as my hate towards evil goes from intense flames to smoldering charcoal. Forgiveness/the art of letting go is the path to enlightenment and it’s really hard. Letting go mid-bad faith debate on X just now wasn’t so hard, but I feel some empowerment. Hope I can get to know all of this. Thanks for reading.

I deactivated Facebook today. I want to believe I’m overreacting or being dramatic. It is my nature. I’m often reminded by loved ones about this attribute. Anyway, today’s news is really bad. Not exactly surprising. Just sickening and frightening. To the point of me frantically making lists of things to do to prepare for this incoming storm. As far as I’m concerned, we are in a civil war and the violence of it will continue to seep into every city, small town and rural village…

Another reason to homeschool. No. I don’t blank out names. If people are so willing to spread this garbage with their name attached, why should I cover for them? This was a teacher. Agents for the state are only interested in keeping the state alive. They don’t want money paid to them voluntarily. You can’t fix oppression with oppression. Taxation is theft and extortion to maintain a system that does not help you. Only themselves.

An old post, but so completely out of touch with reality. Teachers are agents of the government. They teach what is required in curriculum which is a government mandated standard. This includes a plethora of outdated information, misleading information and biased information. Parents homeschooling their children is the parent choosing how their child is indoctrinated. I’d much rather parents choose more of the curriculum than the state, because the state represents oppression of the people. Parents aren’t oppressors of a society. The government is. Teaching children that voting is a voice (no longer relevant and inaccurate), very biased lessons in American history including our government being the “good guys” in foreign wars etc; this is government indoctrination. If parents homeschooling is “indoctrination” then so is state public schooling. And I’d much rather parents have that influence over their own children. This isn’t pearl clutching Karen’s pulling paranoia out of their asses. This is oppressed citizens seeking asylum from a government attempting to convince the public why they’re relevant and needed. You’re a teacher? Then you’re influencing and corrupting children for the state.

Unpopular opinion: People constantly “calling out” toxic behavior by throwing the word toxic in front of every behavior that they personally interpret as toxic… You’re the one carrying the bucket of poison and making the choice to throw it around.
