Once a young child starts walking, itβs time to ditch the diapers.
Keep a couple of potties handy and let your child run naked and free around the house (+ outside if you have access to a peaceful outdoor space).
At first you will have to look for their cues to avoid an accident on the floor. But children learn SO quickly. Soon they will just go to the potty on their own once they understand.
Youβll be surprised at how fast children become potty trained this way. My son was fully potty trained by 18 months (including at night), and my daughter, who just turned one, hasnβt worn a diaper in nearly two months.
Naked and free is the way. Children are more aware of themselves than you might think, especially when you create the right environment for them to learn and understand how things work.
