Most sleep deprived parents are sleep deprived because of the no cosleeping meme. I cosleep with both my children. One is 2-years-old and the other is 6-months-old. I have never missed a night's sleep. Even in the newborn stage. Babies just want to cuddle and breastfeed on demand. My kids sleep for about 12 hours every night.

Last night, I met an angry modern feminist who doesn't want kids. When I asked her why, she completely freaked out—it triggered her immensely. I really don't understand how people manage using disposable diapers. The constant need to buy more and more when a baby can go through 23+ diapers in just two days is overwhelming.
