As I have families in #southeastasia I’m there as much as I can. Last time I was in a currency exchange house at the shores of river Mekong. There I found old #dollar and #pound notes. These #bank notes were from the time when they were backed by silver or gold. It was clearly visible on the paper. Now money, or this piece of paper, is backed by liars. Politicians, bankers, central bankers and many others. The invention of this #paper, was done to simplify the transportation of value, aka coins with or made from silver or gold. But since most users did not convert these papers back in to real value, banks startet their shady services and created paper out of nothing, FIAT was born. Every year we see they paying us with toilet paper or with imaginary digits on a ledger. Mostly this video game number version… and the bad thing about it, they earn interests from us, from abracadabra value. This is why we have #btc #bitcoin.
