Who is behind the Bitcoin address that buys 100 Bitcoin per day?#Bitcoin #Mr100 The mysterious Bitcoin whale known as “Mr. 100” has been accumulating substantial amounts of BTC at a relentless pace. This enigmatic entity has consistently purchased at least 100 BTC nearly every day, including weekends, since February 14th. In that brief time frame, Mr. 100 has accumulated a total of 3,806.54 BTC, which is currently worth approximately $207,996,959. The wallet associated with Mr. 100 has been continually receiving BTC since November 2022, around the time when the FTX exchange collapsed. Since February 14th, it has been adding at least 100 BTC daily. Interestingly, the wallet also received larger Bitcoin transfers from a secondary address that has been accumulating 100 BTC tranches since 2019. This suggests that the mysterious whale has been stacking sats for quite some time. While the exact identity of Mr. 100 remains unknown, there are several speculations about who might be behind this massive accumulation. Possibilities include a Hong Kong financial institution pre-seeding for ETFs, the Qatar Investment Authority, other Middle Eastern sovereign wealth funds, a cold wallet associated with the South Korean Upbit exchange, or even an unidentified address of a tech billionaire. Regardless of their identity, Mr. 100 continues to accumulate BTC, even during periods of near all-time highs in Bitcoin’s price. The wallet linked to Mr. 100 has been tagged as a cold wallet belonging to the Upbit cryptocurrency exchange by blockchain intelligence firm Arkham Intelligence. Most of the wallet’s outflows have been sent to an Upbit hot wallet, further supporting this association. However, the true identity of Mr. 100 remains shrouded in mystery, leaving the crypto community intrigued by this significant accumulation. image
