Synonym's Pubky homeserver & indexer services will follow the law, but I will do everything in my power to avoid ever performing KYC compliance. We're more likely to block EU IP's next year, than implement proof-of-age regulations. Taking a stand could make their efforts fall apart. It is my belief that if we create a system that truly gives users real control over what they see, that the argument for aggressive censorship and KYC becomes irrational. Also, PKDNS, is going to make this all a bit more interesting... Anyway, what will Nostr apps and relays do about this? (it affects you too)

Can you block someone from sending you dm's in Nostr?

Duration-wise, every past Bitcoin bull market has peaked between now and December. Statistically, that means most people with extra BTC have started scaling out already.

Nostr cannot scale for the same reason Bitcoin can't - only much, much worse. For Nostr to work in a censorship-resistant way, everyone has to have a copy of all the data of all the users.
