Why are there so many messaging/chat apps and people migrate to one after another?
E.g. Messanger, Signal, WeChat, WhatsApp, Skype, Telegram, ICQ, Slack, Teams, iMessege and so on.
(They are not interoperable, migration is far from seamless, XMPP is not in widespread use if any).
